Here's who I am & what I do
My name is Daniel (but you can call me Dan).
I am a multi-disciplinary designer with extensive experience crafting products and interfaces for consumer facing apps, SaaS, B2B, etcetera for different companies from startups to Fortune 500. Experienced various types of projects, including: in-house enterprise products, marketing sites, native mobile apps, desktop and mobile websites. Additionally skilled in motion design and 3D animation.

Besides that, I am a health nut that prioritizes optimal lifestyle habits, PC gaming enthusiast, avid traveler (my last trip was to Puerto Rico), and I am currently reading "Atomic Habits".
Core Values
Integrity
Not only does this mean being honest and trustworthy, but it also means bringing true value to others in your work. Quality and alignment are big parts of integrity. Does this product do what it says? Is it good?
Collaboration
Nothing great was made alone. One thing that's been most meaningful about collaborating with others to me is gaining different perspectives and ideas outside of my own. Two brains are better than one.
Growth
Continuous growth in myself and my skills is a must. Self-awareness and feedback from other has helped me with my growth in my skills and in life. I always strive for more and I can't be too complacent for too long.
Creativity
Innovating and coming up with new ways to tackle a problem has always been very useful and rewarding in my work. Utilizing the power of my imagination to drive design and the development process forward is key.
Happiness
This value is in the middle because I consider it my "most core" core value. Happiness is the most important ingredient, especially when it comes to your customers, your team, and yourself.
Balance
To me, balance is so vital to master in life, especially when it comes to work and play. Life isn't just about work, but you won't get far if you only play in life. Balance can be tricky, but is key. Same for well-roundedness.
Beauty
Beauty is not just something that is placed as "superficial". Beauty in the design world is something that is easy on the mind as well as being fun and appealing to navigate through. It also reflects health and respect.
Empathy
Always putting yourself in the shoes of the viewer or user of your product is one of the most important aspects of my work. Always aim to understand your audience and make their experiences remarkable!
Prosperity
Thriving and living an enriched life is what life is all about. I do not want to just "get by" or do the bare minimum. There is no fun in that and it does not lead to a prosperous life. Life isn't about mediocrity either.
